Dentist appointment and stuff
Sep. 9th, 2007 | 02:48 am
I have been trying to organize my activities too lately and thank goodness starting to see some progress. Recently took up jumping rope for additional physical activities since I can’t seem to get the hang of pilates. Hopefully, I will be able to stick with it until I see changes. Christmas is around the corner and I can’t see the weighing scale’s hand pointing to somewhere nice. I also managed to finish season 1 and 2 of Charmed (finally) and will probably run a season or two of One Piece before proceeding to the next season. Yup, someone’s trying to keep busy and definitely trying to avoid something. ^_^
I am trying my best not to take a peek with the ongoing Hana Kimi live version for months now and diverted my attention to the mange which is thankfully, completed already. The story is nice, cute, and kilig although not as great as Akuma de Sourou or Hot Gimmick but then I barely started Volume 4... ^_^ (<I realized lately I like making this smiley faces way back college days. Too bad, can't put wings and halo on it.)

Aoi sora again!!!
Aug. 6th, 2007 | 07:08 am
I started Reading Anatolia’s Story this afternoon and thank goodness, my mood seems to be improving. Prince Kail is one HOT bishounen. (I don't know if Sakuya can rival him in the sizzling department though.) What else can make my day wonderful? Ate Girlie’s pasalubong from Japan. Hehehe, I have a new addition to my kawaii raisin figurines. It is so adorable and it is standing in my shelf right now beside Irish and Thea’s pasalubong Ate Girl is hoping she can return to Japan in the first week of April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. She is sooo lucky to get sponsored by the company who made Pocari Sweat. I was like, begging her to let me come with her next year. I want to see the cherry blossoms too. I want to walk around Shibuya. I want to try their hot springs, wear a kimono (I think I have already done that in my Humanities class), I want to see the 3D museum and I want to see a live bishounen, hehehehe.

Red-letter days >_
Aug. 5th, 2007 | 02:32 am
I noticed that I was feeling sort of down the entire week, I thought it was related to the "some" news" and posts that I've read. Partly, I guess but the main culprit is my period. I must be getting older to suffer these symptoms. I never have this before. My period would come and go for all I care but now, I've been encountering emotional ups and downs with it. I can't believe the lethargy and somehow (a bit extreme) depression that I went through this week. If I only realized the main culprit sooner, I was able to treat it immediately with a dose of dark chocolate or something stronger, but then I realized too late.
Terry GoodKind was also momentarily forgotten. Reaching the fourth book somehow doused my interest and left me craving for one of thos Historical Romance Novels I love and would never get tired of. However, it is still not "book-shopping month" so I might as well try to look for something else to wile away my boredom. >_

Crusading days...
Aug. 5th, 2007 | 02:13 am
Still, I am proud that I once, I was able to play the characters I admired so much from historical novels I love. I am proud to have *ahem* wield my sword, lance and even healing skills for Metaphysical Adobo and Rosecroix. Hehehe.
Being, a true blood Rosicrucians, I can't resist lifting this parting message from our private boards.
Rose Croix of pRO Fenrir
July 18,2006
No matter what has happened tonight, as far as Rose Croix is concerned the gruelling RPC 2006 agit lords scoring has ended for us. Another era has passed, and this time Rose Croix finishes the final chapter of its existence as an official WoE guild. It has been a great ride, but the train is moving on, and we are long overdue to move along with it. So this is farewell, and we give it with no regrets. Rose Croix shall of course continue its existence for the PVP team, but the days of Rose Croix as a WoE guild are no more.
There are a lot of new horizons out there, and here we leave with memories of a glorious past that has touched our lives like no other game has. Laughter and tears, praise and harsh words, camaraderie and conflict, they all form the tapestry of that part of our lives that was touched by Ragnarok Online.
It is the end, but what an ending it has been. Thank you so much. However, let it not be said that anyone was kicked out of school, people lost their jobs, was run into bankruptcy or suffered the break up of a relationship due to RO. Instead, we hope that students graduated, people found jobs or were promoted, and strengthened their relationships with loved ones DESPITE the time spent in RO. If so, you did the right thing to prioritize these real-life endeavors over RO, for these are YOUR personal triumphs, which are more lasting and more meaningful than any triumph that RPC can ever give. It is better to lose RPC and win in real life rather than the other way around.
Be that as it may, we thank everyone who shared that long journey with us, who shared what little time they had despite the demands of real life, who toiled along with us, who gave their all despite their limitations. This is for friends and comrades past and present, for those with us and for those who grace our halls no more. You are or were a part of Rose Croix, and no matter what has happened, you share in the glory of what Rose Croix was and always will be.
To our RPC allies and opponents, a lot BLOOD, sweat and tears have been shed. But a little more of RPC remains, and we wish you all fair journey in its undertaking. Let's make Fenrir proud!
To our fellow guildsmen, ever since the beginning, the reason for Rose Croix has always been WoE. On that fateful day of May 2, 2005 Rose Croix was born from the dying embers of RPC 2005 to rise like a phoenix and sear its way into the consciousness of Fenrir like a comet in the sky. The battle cry of "Stick Together, Move As One, Unleash Hell!" was first heard in Virchbruek, but soon reverberated across all of Midgard. We successfully defended Virchbruek unbroken for 45 straight sieges, held 3 agits in Luina at a time, conquered the then iron fortress of Red Palace from ArmaGades just before Heritage, and finally, claimed our place as one of the Agit Lords of Fenrir. This has been our swan song, and you all performed beautifully. Hold your heads high. It has been an honor and a privilege to call you comrades.
But now it is time to rest. It is only fitting that we go out when we choose to, rather than wait for ourselves to wither and fall, unmanned and witless. Tomorrow the sun shall rise, just like the day before, and countless days since the time before man. One path has ended, but another path begins. Cherish these memories, but now look forward and dream other dreams. Mayhap the different people here shall cross paths again, yet may we all be united in what we have shared here right now.
Too long have our veterans toiled, our passing shackled by duty. But now comes sweet release. Peace now, peace, and I bury my sword. Furl the banners! The emblem of the rose and shield shall fly no more! We have chosen our ending, and our ending is now.
In behalf of Rose Croix, fare thee well, everyone.

Sunday night out with the Veyks.
Jul. 30th, 2007 | 02:20 am
Johanne came in a red sweatshirt. His height never fails to amaze me. Standing at 5'4 already, I only came up around his shoulder. He also has this habit of dragging me around, forgetting about his enormous built and that I am not a true blue veyk. John, on the other hand also surprised me. Working out at Slimmer's Word is paying off. I was eyeing the bulge on his biceps, a telltale signs of the hours he probably spent weightlifting. There is definitely no need for him to drink whey protein since he's on his way to becoming a body builder. Not that he's planning to be one. I missed his veyks comments and antics. I do missed having to talk to them and chat about nonsense things or where to spot a bishie.
As of today, I am carefully nursing early signs of sore throat and the damp wind at Gilligans last night also left me sneezing and the probability of coming down with a cold. One night out and it is payback time. T_T
P.S. My sister is wearing me out lately and trying to meditate does not help either.

Yatta it's Friday!!!
Jul. 13th, 2007 | 09:52 am
The movie also got me thinking about dyeing my hair copper or a deep shade of red, AGAIN, an almost one-month issue about what new hairstyle to adopt and just for the sake of doing something different. Unfortunately, I haven’t made up my mind up to this moment. Karen was like, trying to convince me to have my hair straightened. She have seen old pictures of me with a straight hair and commented about how that hairstyle suits me. I tried weighing down the pros and cons but still come up with no decision.
Friday the 13th is not that bad after all. True, work sure is tough today with an extra difficult doctor but a little trip to the mall with friends washed away all the traces of stress and weariness I have. This one week cough and cold is also starting to go away so it was an almost delightful day for me. Getting the Monday to Friday shift is also a huge bonus, which means I get to rest on Saturday and Sunday for the next two weeks. A must for me since I got a three-week worth of accumulated chores and errands to tackle.

Its a bishie-ladden world once again...
May. 4th, 2007 | 07:56 pm
mood:
giddy
I recently finished watching Hana Yori Dango season 2 and the guy playing Nishikado Soujiro reminds me of Gohatto (Taboo), a samurai film that I’ve seen last December. Matsuda Shota (Soujiro) resembles Kano Sozaburo, the young and very much “confused” samurai playing the lead role. Then, a few clicks here and there showed me the connection, Matsuda Shota is the younger brother of Matsuda Ryuhei (Kano Sozaburo).
Ryuhei is around 24 while Shota is 21. (Insert evil laugh> ...and I’m 24, isn’t that nice ^_^)
On a sad note, Thea, a friend of mine who recently went back from Japan, told me that Japanese guys weren’t as handsome as what the boob tube portrays them but Japanese girls, on the other hand, are undeniably pretty. As if I care about that.
Oh well, dreams are free right?

location: Work
mood:
busy
Work is from 10 pm to 6 am today (err tonight) which is somewhat relaxing since I get to escape from the intense 2 p.m. shift heat and may buy some time to regain my normal skin tone. I was able to catch 5 + 3 hour sleep this morning and hopefully this will able to keep me on my toes all night.
And the boss is currently roaming around so I better head back to my work station.
I'll see if I can sneak another entry later.
Sore ja.

Last Song Syndrome
Feb. 1st, 2007 | 05:29 pm
mood:
calm
...and this song keeps on playing inside my head worsening the nostalgic atmosphere around me. I really, really , really needed a break!!!
SOMEDAY
Someday you'll gonna realize
One day you'll see these through my eyes
But then I won't even be there
I'll be happy somewhere
Even if I can't
I know
You don’t really see my worth
You think, your the last guy on earth
Well I've got news for you
I know I’m not that strong
But it won't take long
Won't take long
CHORUS
Coz someday, someone's gonna love me
The way, I want you to need me
Someday, someone's gonna take your place
One day I’ll forget about you
You'll see, I won't even miss you
Someday, someday
But now
I know you can't tell
I'm down, and I’m not doing well
But one day these tears
They will all run dry
I won't have to cry
Sweet goodbye
CHORUS
Coz someday, someone's gonna love me
The way, I want you to need me
Someday, someone's gonna take your place
One day I’ll forget about you
You'll see, I won't even miss you
Someday, someday

| Your Birthdate: September 24 |
![]() For you, love is a natural progression from friendship. You are almost always friends first. In love, you are loyal, steady, and honest. You are not a cheater or even much of a flirt. You are likely to stay friends with your ex... and open to rekindling something in the future. Number of True Loves You'll Have: 4 Number of Times You'll Have Your Heart Broken: 1 You are most compatible with people born on the 6th, 15th, and 24th of the month. |

You are The Empress
Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.
The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents,
beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home
decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.
The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

Ate Charmaine, now Mrs. Kauffman, tied the knot with Kuya Karl this morning at Sacred Heart Parish. Due to my work load, Laine and I were only able to catch up with them in the reception part. Prior to the wedding, Nikki told us to wear skirts. Being familiar with her agenda, I decided to go in slacks instead knowing that it well help lessen your chance of getting stuck with the bouquest and I was WRONG!!!
The song ended even before I have the chance of passing the boquet to Laine. What's with that!!!
Oh and I'm currently suffering from a slight sore throat. Having read Vida's entry about Lion Bar, made me decide to ask my cousin and tita from Saudi to send me some for Christmas. The package arrived yesterday containing plain and peanut butter Lion Bars and a box of Amicelli hazel.
P.S. Karen's oniisan is uber kawaiii.

The downside, the subtitle in the the last two episode sucks. There are good parts that does not even have translation. I could only catch a familiar word or two in their dialogue and it's a bit frustrating.
P.S. Ate Charmaine's wedding (my bestfriend's older sister and a Quistis look alike) is getting married this Saturday. My schedule is still in shambles and I haven't bought her a gift yet.

Ticket number 0031
Dec. 10th, 2006 | 01:33 am
mood:
cheerful
The evening started with our boss welcoming the newly hired batch and Arianne (a schoolmate from St. James, Q.C.) was among them. Then came the production number. Our month-long practice for "Bulaklak" was finally unveiled (Though, I did messed up with the last part hehe) Strutting the flower-covered costume all night is definitely not my idea of spending a christmas party, but having your team members beside you, doning the same attire helps. Oh, and my so-called dull evening was brightened by another discovery. Karen's cute brother, Ramel is a great dancer. Waaa BISHOUNEN RED ALERT!!! He is too cute for his own good and I hate it >_<
Where's the twist? A 21 inch flat screen TV, first prize. As usual, I misplaced my coupon but somehow got a blurred recall of the ticket number. I have no idea if the winner has to go onstage so I ended up going in front and asking the emcee if its really my coupon. Sadly, people mistook my action for not being appreciative of the prize but I did found the ticket when I returned to my seat. Yup, its definitely 0031. Banzaii!!! I was more worried about the ticket that I did not realize the next problem. 21 inch TV do not exactly fit in a cab's trunk nor on the back seat and surprisingly it was Ate Grace who fretted about how am I supposed to take the prize home. (I honestly thought that the box was just a display and that the prizes are to be claimed in the office). Russel overheard our conversation and he voluntered to drop me home considering that he still has 2 hours travel time to upper Antipolo (this one sounds soooo familiar)
Case closed ^_^ (hehehe)
